About the Program
When we started the program that became Plant for the Cure, our goal was simple: to give back to our community, those in our trade, and of course, our employees, all those who have helped us grow within our industry. As we expand into the Pink Ribbon Plants program, our goal is to enable interested retailers and consumers to support both nationally and locally. Having been touched by the reality of breast cancer in our own lives, it was only natural that we chose to focus our efforts on the fight against this disease, a disease that has affected so many of our family, friends, employees and customers. What started as a simple idea has grown, adapted, and evolved into a program dedicated to continue the fight against breast cancer. As Pink Ribbon Plants continues to grow, we invite you to grow with us, to become part of the collective of national sponsors, growers, and retailers that make up the Pink Ribbon Plants network.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally invite all to get involved. Pink Ribbon Plants represents a commitment to our industry. It also represents the chance to make a difference. Working together, we truly can save a life, influence a new generation, and promote the beauty of flowers and the life-affirming act of gardening. The plants we grow and sell do make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
From all of us at Sunrise Marketing, we would like to express our appreciation to all the growers, representatives, and retailers that have supported Plant for the Cure. We would also like to recognize the incredible work being done through the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to continue the fight. It reminds us that one person can make a difference. Let that one person be you. Please make a commitment today.
Thanks to all of you who support this program. We couldn't do it without you.
